    Good Day Kiddies
Sorry for the very long read. especially those that read this on your phone LOL

The Ablation procedure for the Atrail Flutter went good from what they tell my wife. I was at the out patient surgery for about 8 hours total. Come home last night around 8 pm and eat dinner and then went to sleep. Slept great and now I'm taking it easy for the weekend. Finally short-term disability kicked in and I got paid whoop whoop. I have been out of work since January 17th 2018 and was burning thru or farm income we have safe over the past 3 years. Wife and siblings inherited a farm from her parts back in 2015 and it was already rented out to their cousin and should be sold to him this year hopefully.

We have a pretty good short-term, I work for Caterpillar and I work for the one facilities they are going to close by the end of 2018, and move the work to other US facilities. It was announced last year as we were in contract talks with them, along with 5 other facilities altogether under are central agreement. I have worked there for under 12 years (11/06/2006) was the day I started. Funny thing about that date. The job I had before I came to Cat, were I was laid me off from, My hire date was (11/06/1995). and last year just before my 11th year, I interviewed for a job at a other place, that we handle under our union (a totally different company not related to Caterpillar). It was late October and they asked me when could I start if hired I told them.........you guessed it November 6th since it was a little bit over 2 weeks from the date of the interview. I didn't get the job even though it would been more money then I was making at the time I interviewed.

So when I finally laid-off I get a good severance package and my insurance for 12 months, and I'm going to take my time finding a job because I'm going to collect unemployment and maybe go back to school and take some classes for something. I'm not sure really though.

    Have a great day kiddies

    Good morning.

Rich - good to hear everything went well with your procedure. Sucks you'll be losing your job, but at least you'll be getting a nice severance package from it. I don't blame you one bit for collecting unemployment for awhile, it's kinda nice in a way when that happens, it allows you to recharge your batteries for the next job you take.

    Good morning guys!

Rich, I had a VSD repair and a stent when I was younger. Now, I’m having chest pains with fluttering and dizziness. So, I’ve got a heart monitor for 31 days, a Ct scan, a stress test and an echocardiogram that I had to do. They’re really not taking any chances! Good luck man! And good luck with going back to school if that’s what you choose to do!

Hopefully they find out what is wrong good thing you're on top of it anyway.......I have had all those tests done before and they were all negative. Then we caught the Afib since it was more then an hour it was 12 hours to be exact. So that was what started the whole Ablation procedures.

Good thing too, because it was truly getting annoying going to the hospital and then running up bills for nothing to show for it.....So this is hopefully the be all to end all.
