So I figure I can share this with you guys since no one lives here. The lady did a Bond for Deed on my house b/c she lost her job before the intial closing. She paid us $25k (we used to close on our new house) basically as a depsoit. She found out she wouldn't be able to qualify since she doesn't make as much as her new job. Word got around she was talking to lawyers trying to get out of the contract. Bottom line if she doesn't close by August 25th we get the house back and can resell but the whole time we have to pay both mortgages on the 2 houses. I know it seems like first world problems but this is the hottest year in baseball cards in a long time and I can't buy shit b/c of this shady bitch. I did manage to order a couple bowman chrome boxes and some Topps update since I have a lot of swagbucks gift cards (which I highly recommend if you don't do and you can be my referrel ) I use the gift cards to buy Blowout gift certificates and buy wax. My next order will include at least one box of 2007 classics football I showed a couple of you.

Joey, sounds a lot like what my Dad calls "selling on contract". He says he usually comes out better moneywise on those but they are a pain in the ass. You get the $25k outright or is it held by the broker? That should help with the paying 2 mortgages but still a really shitty situation.

We got it outright but used it all for closing costs and insurance on the new house. Hopefully it will all be settled next month.

Damn Joey, sounds like she is fucked. Sorry to hear that you're having to pay for 2 mortgages though. We're going from renting to buying again, and all closing costs are paid by the seller. We have about $10k for a down payment now.

We used it all for closing b/c we wanted to big enough chunk to avoid the PMI. We had PMI on our first house years ago and it was $100 a month added to the note for nothing. Bullshit.

I know you aren't baseball guys but this is neat....

Jose Siri, cf, Reds. In Daytonís game against Fort Wayne, Siri doubled and homered to extend his hit streak to 34 games, second-most in MWL history to Tony Toupsí 35 in 1977 with Waterloo.

That's awesome! I'm not sure why but hitting streaks were always something I liked.

    Afternoon guys!

That's awesome! Yeah, I'm with Andy. Consecutive games, hit streaks...always liked them. Cal Ripken, Jr. was one of my faves.
